Intro Section:This tune is based on 8 bar repetition of a burlesque style phase for full big band. Each time, the phrase ends on a whole note fermatta, with each ensuing fermatta, the fermatta gets longer and longer, at the end of each phrase more and more improvising instruments are added in that space, until the full band is playing all at the same time,in the spirit of the melody_this builds and builds getting more more satirical w/each passing 8 bars and longer and longer fermatta. Tune builds higher and higher till unison cut off.

Alternate:Since this is a relatively short piece,each time the piece is performed it could be preceded by any combination of improvising instruments, in various musical settings, for instance a quartet ,rhythm section in 4/4 or 5/4 or 6/8 and horn playing a set of changes that you determine, at the end of the improvisation, band leader would cue in Creole Talkin.

Outline: Burlesque type melody with heavy back beat on drums, played by brass section counter melody on saxes_builds to whole note fermatta, (repeat)on each repeat, fermatta gets longer and longerbegin to add improvising instruments on fermatta section each time adding more until full ensemble is playing on fermatta in spirit of melody builds to the unison cut off of the melody at its obvious peak.
